How it began
Every poem here started as a diet chart's margin note.
“Perseverance is my greatest virtue – it’s what let me finish a book between clinic hours and canvas hours.”
Winter guest room. Filled with natural sunlight through large windows, it is one of the warmest and most peaceful spaces in the house. Guests can enjoy panoramic views of the village and surrounding mountains.
How it began
Three pages, picked at random.
Through my lens, I aim to freeze the magic in the moments you might not notice: the candid laughter, the tenderness in your partner’s eyes, the quiet intimacy of your intertwined hands.
My goal is to help you see yourself and your story in a way you never have before and turn it into art that deserves to be framed and live on the walls of your home. Through a little bit of guidance and a lot of play, we’ll create a timeless reflection of the love, connection, and beauty that make your journey uniquely yours.

How it began
The poet behind the pages
Shubneet was born into a family of doctors, where care was never separate from discipline. She carried that instinct into her own path earning a B.Ed and a B.Sc, then completing a postgraduate diploma in food and nutrition with distinction from Punjabi University, training that led to her work as a dietitian, including time at PGI Chandigarh. But alongside every textbook was a second notebook: half-formed poems in the margins, small paintings finished late at night, quiet observations about nature and feeling that eventually found their way into leading Indian newspapers like The Tribune and Hindustan Times.
She credits perseverance as her greatest virtue, and it shows in the steady, unhurried way she approaches both halves of her life the same attentiveness she brings to a client’s diet chart, she brings to a wild rose, a changing season, or an unfinished thought. Flight Feathers is where that attentiveness finally sits on one page: less a departure from her work as a dietitian than an extension of it, the same instinct to notice what a body or a feeling is quietly trying to say. That instinct for care extends beyond the page and the clinic too. Born into a family with a strong tradition of service,
Shubneet has worked with several charitable organisations over the years, carrying the same quiet attention into that work as she does into her poetry and her practice.
